MY STORY
Before High Life Escapes
Growing up, I did not travel much. The trips I remember were simple ones - train rides around my home country, the feeling of going somewhere new, and the quiet curiosity that there was more of the world waiting somewhere beyond what I knew.
At 19, I came to the United States through a student work-and-travel program. It was my first time on a plane, my first international trip, and the first time I was truly on my own.
Nothing about that summer was glamorous. I worked at a hotel front desk, lived with other international students, and saved what I could to see a little more of the country. But I still remember standing in New York, surrounded by the lights, noise, billboards, and energy of Broadway, and feeling the world open up in a way I had never known before.
That feeling stayed with me.

EVOLUTION
When travel became personal
After that first summer, I wanted more of the world. I learned German, moved to Frankfurt on my own, and kept traveling however I could - buses, hostels, free museum days, long walks, and little itineraries built on a small budget.
Later, travel became part of my love story. My husband and I dated long distance for two years, and every visit became a way to explore Europe together - through nature, wine, food, wellness, and places that felt deeply special to us.

Looking back, travel gave me possibility and perspective. Then resilience and independence. Later, connection - to people, to experiences, and to the life I was creating for myself.
Over time, I realized the trips that stay with us are rarely about the destination alone. They stay with us because they reflect who we are, what we value, what we crave, who we love, and the season of life we are in.
That is the heart behind High Life Escapes.

Why I created High Life Escapes
I also knew how quickly planning can stop feeling fun. Too many tabs, too many opinions, too many “must-do” lists - and suddenly the trip you were excited about starts to feel like a project.

After years of planning my own trips, researching every hotel, building itineraries, and becoming the person friends and family came to for travel ideas, I realized how naturally this work came to me.

I created High Life Escapes to make designing a trip feel clearer, more personal, and more exciting from the start.
You bring the idea, the occasion, or the trip you can’t stop thinking about. I bring the taste, guidance, and thoughtful details to shape it into something that feels easy to trust - and even better to look forward to.
